Our trips are centered around 26 miles of the New river national river, depending on the trip you want determines where we will start.Most full day trips will start at either Sandstone, Meadow creek orMcCreery ,the take outs for the sandstone and Meadow creek put in will either be glade creek,mill creek,or grandview sandbar,the McCreery take out is at stone cliff, half day trips will put in at Sandstone or glade creek and take out at meadow creek and grandview sandbar, multi day trips will put in at sandstone,meadow creek,and take out at stonecliff, lower New trips put in at Cunard and take out at fayette station. The Sandstone to Grandview sandbar section is a desiginated catch and release on smallmouth.

We offer our guests a variety of fishing trips to fit all of their needs. From half-day floats to our three-day excursion, we endeavor to provide the best trip possible. We will also tailor any trip to meet a guests specific requirements. We can fish up to 10 guests per day, 7 days a week, from March through October.

All trips are priced per boat or per person,add 6%sales tax.

New River float trips

Day Trip This is our most called for trip,approx 9.5 hrs with a lunch break,trip length varies from 9 miles to 12 miles depending on water and weather conditions $365. per boat

Half Day This trip is 5.5 hrs in duration snacks and refreshments are provided. $260. per boat

Prime Time Leave early or fish late you decide when you want to depart on this trip, we offer this trip so that our guests can be on the water during the very best times, you get eight solid hrs of fishing,snacks and refreshments are provided,$350 per boat.

Fish for 12 hrs If you are the kind of fisherman who can't get enough of it, this is you trip,just as it says this trip will keep you fishing for 12 solid hrs,and will cover a minum of 12 miles of river, lunch snacks and refreshments are provided. Cost of this trip for two persons is $450.

Night trips Night time fishing for smallies can be some of the best fishing that you can experience for big smallies,we start these trips in June, we will be fishing primiarly top water baits,such as buzzbaits, poppers, prop baits,and big spinner baits. We normally will get on the water at dusk and fish approx 8 hrs, shorter trips can be arranged .Cost is $370.00.

Two day Overnight Our premier trip!! this trip gets you two full days of fishing,you will spend the night at our river cottage which has all the comforts of home. you will be provided with lunch both days a delicious dinner (either steak, fish or chicken) at your request with all the trimmings and a filling breakfast to get you started the next morning.You need to bring only your personal items, all bedding and bath neccessities are provided, the cost of this trip is $435 per person.

Three Day Trip Three days of solid fishing,all meals and lodgeing,$720 P/P.

We will do our utmost to ensure your that your trip goes off without a hitch,any trip can be tailored to your particular needs with advance notice, add a 2% service charge to all credit card purchases .

Greenbrier River float trips

The Greenbrier is also an excellent smallmouth stream,it offers good numbers of fish and some excellent size smallmouth,it is a totally different river than the New, if you wish to fish the Greenbrier we only offer full day trips,$450 per boat two boat minium

New River Trips Virginia

We do offer trips in Virginia, fishing is excellent on these sections of the New These trips are full day trips only cost per boat is $450 two boat minum for this trip, March is a great month for this trip.

Flyfishing

Flyfishing for smallouth can be one of the most rewarding methods to take these brown bombers, June is really the starting point for flyrodding,some of the top produces are sliders,hairbugs,streamers,and clousers,we perfer our clients to use at least a 5wt rod and matching floating wfd line a 6lb floral carbon leader is a basic setup.Flyfishing trips are priced the same as any other trip that we offer.
